Program topics include: Dynamics of divorce; impasse-breaking techniques; communication techniques; financial issues in divorce; parenting plans; agreement writing; post divorce conflicts; issues related to never-married parents; domestic violence; MO and KS law; and the interface of mediation with the court system.
Taken as a whole this training is a basic 40-hour Core and Domestic mediation training that will meet the qualifications for MO Supreme Court Rules 17 and 88, KS Supreme Court Rule 914 as well as the minimum training required by most court-connected and state-sponsored mediation programs.
This will be an interactive class that combines didactic presentations, active input from the participants, and role-play opportunities.
