1-hour Safe Communication Training
Location: Zoom
Kandace Rather
Cost: $0
Friday, June 11, 2021, 12PM CST
To hurt or harm another with no remorse is the ultimate evil. As human beings, we will, at times, hurt and harm one another in both small and substantial ways. Clearly put, there are no perfect people. However, what if there is a way to purposefully and greatly minimize the hurt and harm we unintentionally cause in our conversations?
Our Safe Communication Webinar has been created to help you show up in your Mediation Practice with a timely understanding of what it means to:
-Stay informed to the needs and sensitivities of differing values and perspectives
-Experience both rupture and repair in conversations in order to see the goals through
-Seek the path of continually learning and growing in having Safe Communication
-Model Safe Communication for your clients, empowering them to have healthy conversations
-Use your words with forethought and intention in order to minimize those awkward moments
About the trainer:
Kandace Rather’s love for good and meaningful communication started as a little girl when her dad handed her a journal at the age of 8 years old, telling her she had a gift with words. She went on to obtain degrees in both psychology and interpersonal communication in order to help others communicate more effectively from a universal desire for healthy connections. Whether personal or business, we can expand our capacities to have safe conversations, giving one another the honor and kindness that
changes lives and organizations.
Kandace is the Director of Grief Untangled and holds a Certification through the Miss Foundation where she helps those struggling through traumatic grief and loss. Her most recent adventure is becoming a Trained Mediator in the state of Missouri.
To register, use the Zoom registration link below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting.
