The Layne Project 4 Families, Visit Supervisors
4 Families is a non-profit organization in Olathe, KS whose mission is to protect childhoods by supporting families experiencing parental separation. Our mission is focused on ensuring every child has the opportunity for a stable and nurturing environment, even while facing the challenges of family transitions. We do this by offering comprehensive, trauma-informed, and child-focused services to families regardless of their financial situation. We provide a range of services, including:
Supervised visitation, Supervised exchanges, Family therapy, Child therapy, Individual therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
Additionally, our Program Director is a BeH2O™ Certified Coach. This program teaches parents a child-focused joint parenting approach. The program empowers parents to adopt the “be water” strategy when navigating co-parenting, helping to extinguish conflict and minimize collateral damage to children.

Sarah is a certified Missouri and Kansas mediator specializing in civil, domestic, employee-employer, and community dispute resolution. She has over 25 years of experience facilitating individual and community conflict. She also has experience in matters related to domestic violence. She loves offering the opportunity for people and communities to come together to solve their conflicts.

In addition to being a licensed social worker and attorney, Trina is also a trained and certified mediator, conciliator, parenting coordinator and domestic case manager through the State of Kansas, and is trained as a certified divorce coach and conflict management coach. She is currently a member of the Kansas Bar Association, Johnson County Bar Association, Johnson County Family Law Inn of Court, Juvenile Bench Bar, Supervised Visitation Network, and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Trina is also trained in collaborative law.
