Pre-Mediation Coaching

One-Hour Pre-Mediation Coaching Program (Group or Individual)
Untitled design (2).png

This free one-hour pre-mediation coaching program is offered in both individual and small group formats and is designed to help participants prepare emotionally, mentally, and practically for mediation. The session supports participants in understanding the mediation process, clarifying goals, and developing effective communication strategies to promote productive and respectful dialogue.

Participants will work with a trained coach to identify key concerns, manage strong emotions, and practice expressing needs and interests in a clear and constructive way. Group sessions provide shared learning and skill-building in a supportive environment, while individual sessions offer personalized coaching tailored to a participant’s specific situation.

Pre-mediation coaching is not legal advice and does not replace mediation. Instead, it serves as a preparation tool that reduces conflict, increases confidence, and helps participants enter mediation feeling informed, grounded, and ready to engage in problem-solving conversations.

Program Outcomes:

  • Increased understanding of the mediation process

  • Clarified priorities and realistic expectations

  • Improved communication and emotional regulation skills

  • Greater readiness for a successful mediation session
