Alexis earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri College of Law. In a professional and personal context, Alexis has exposure and passion for children’s issues in litigation. After witnessing her parents serve as a foster placement for children in State care, she saw a need for more individuals to advocate for families and children. Since passing the bar, Alexis and her husband have also become licensed foster parents who dedicate their time to ensuring children have a safe home while their cases progress.

She is a highly motivated, well-driven individual with a passion for family law. Alexis is a certified Guardian ad Litem, and she is eager to begin her career by representing children and looking out for their best interests.

Elizabeth joined the Law Office of the Ozarks in November 2023 after over 11 years with the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office (MSPD). Elizabeth continues to practice in criminal defense but has expanded her practice to include family law, guardianship/probate, estate planning, guardian ad litem work, and mediation.
